Salah Offers Statement to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the group of players after the uproar from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a European match after criticising the club and claiming his relationship with manager had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The manager has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
Jones also implied that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “It's clear there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have remained strong in the games following the situation. He feels the Salah's words were not intended to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and on a positive run.”
